I always have a red nose. The rest of my skin is normal looking, although I have spots occasionally. Why is my nose red?
I suspect you may have a condition called acne rosacea, which tends to affect people in their 30s and 40s causing blushing attacks, spots and red skin on the nose and cheeks. No-one really knows what causes it but it does tend to run in families and is more common in fair skinned people and affects women more often than men. It responds well to antibiotics either as a cream or in tablet form depending on the severity so make an appointment to see your GP who I am sure will be able to help.
