Yellow eyes

My eyes are slightly darker than they used to be and the whites seem to be turning yellow. I’m 72, so I thought maybe it was just age but my son thinks it might be to do with my liver. Should I be worried?

Your son could be right. A yellow tinge to the whites of the eyes can be due to high levels of bilirubin in the system, which can be a sign of problems wit your liver. You should make an appointment to see your doctor who will examine you and will probably want to arrange some blood tests to look into this.
